Amanda is a skilled communicator with extensive experience in crafting sound policy, including four years as legislative staff in the Oregon State Senate. During the past dozen legislative sessions, she’s accomplished major wins for criminal justice reform, LGBTQ rights, Tribal Sovereignty, and for businesses large and small. Amanda is highly regarded among legislators, agency heads, advocates, and lobbyists as someone with integrity, intelligence, and initiative. As a former rugby player, she is a strong force in tough negotiations. Above all, Amanda prides herself on delivering results and building strong, genuine relationships.
Amanda's favorite aspect of lobbying in Oregon is working with strategic, smart, optimistic people who are eager to get off the sidelines and tackle issues together.
Prior to her work in state politics, Amanda worked in urban planning at Metro. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, good documentaries, craft beer, and quality time with her wife and friends. Ask her sometime about her experience cycling across the country!
Amanda graduated Magna Cum Laude from Carleton College with a B.A. in Political Science and has an MBA from Portland State University.
